About Me

My name is Jesse and I was born in western Wisconsin in a small rural town which, like most places, breathed high school, college, and professional football. Although my own playing experience was rather brief — I was 4'10" and 59 pounds going into 6th grade — that did not stymie my passion for football.

I have been an avid Green Bay Packers fan ever since I can remember. To be fair, it probably helps that I am of the generation that has been privileged to have Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers as quarterback for my entire lifetime. Therefore, I have been grateful to experience the Packers winning Super Bowls XXXI and XLV. When people say that I am a "cheesehead", they probably mean two things — I have a profound love my home team and that I consume an extraordinary amount of cheese on a daily basis.

My full-time job is in education where I have spent the last six years as a classroom teacher, but I will be transitioning to a role as a teacher leader this fall. When I am not devoting my time to education or reading about Packers news, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two dogs (Beau and Jax), doing anything outdoors, playing sports, or better yet — attending home Packers games! I was lucky enough to marry into a family that owns season tickets and I will never take that for granted. Although I wish I could take you with, join me as I recap every game, home and away!
